Dr. Elham Salimi is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. She received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2007. She received M.Sc. and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Manitoba, Canada, in 2011 and 2016. Dr. Salimi’s research is focused on developing microfluidic biosensors for medical and biological applications. Her interdisciplinary research involves taking engineering approaches to design and fabricate lab-on-a-chip devices for cellular analysis of biofluids.
